The Lycoming County Conservation District is
requesting bids tor the construction and excavation requued
to install an Agricultural Waste Storage Structure, Concrete
Slabs and Curbing, Manure and Milk House Waste Transter
Systems, Manure Transfer Pump, and Root Runotf Controls
to be funded in part by the Chesapeake Bay Program.
Construction of these protects is expected to begin mid to
late October 2000 The site is located in Limestone
Township, Lycoming County, PA A site showing at the
properly is scheduled for 9 00 Am on September 29, 2000
Prospective contractors will receive a bid package con
sisting ot instructions to bidders, a bid sheet, and project
plans and construction specifications A sample contract
form, construction specifications and other information
standard to most Chesapeake Bay Program projects are
contained m the February 1998, Contractors Handbook, a
copy ot which may be obtained from the Lycoming County
Conservation Distncl Office. Contractors bidding on these
projects arc expected to have in their possession and use the
manual to carry out these contracts
