A team of Mifflinburg FFA members placed first in the Safety Bowl semifinals at Ag
Progress Days in Rockspring. Four FFA teams from across the state will compete at the
Pennsylvania Farm Show in January to determine the final champion. The competition
is sponsored by the Penn State University, Old Guard Insurance Group, Everett Cash
Mutual Insurance Company, and the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture. Team
member included Jessie Camp, captain, Daphne Catherman, Sheena Moser, and Jamie
Camp. Team alternates were Sarah Erdley and Clint Morris. The adviser was Charles
Kessler.
