Whole price range narrowed and whites were generally unchanged to slightly higher. Demand was good for yolks, mixed on whole egg and mostly light on whites. Supplies continued generally adequate. The market tone was firm for yolks and steady to fully steady on the balance. Liquid and frozen eggs (ingredients in cluded) processed under federal inspec tion in the Eastern region for the week ending August 12, 2000 were 13 percent more than last week and 7 percent less than the same week a year ago.
