The Hoober/DMI Strip Tillage Concept
Hoober service technicians have modified the DMI ecolo
tii 2500 into a strip tillage machine. With strip tillage, the
coulter tills a strip that is much more uniform. Hoober
adds additional coulters to the DMI ecolo-til 2500, which slice
and condition the soil, allowing the soil to heat up quicker. The
result? Farmers can seed earlier in the spring than with con
ventional no-till equipment.
