CALVES: Compared to Thursday’s
auction, vealers sold steady in a very
light test. The bigger slaughter calves
traded steady to weak on a plain offer
ing. Holstein bulls returning to feed sold
steady to 5.00 lower, but trading was
active and a good crowd of buyers
showed good demand. There were not
enough Holstein heifers offered for a
good test, but there was no sign of weak
ness.
