MEYERSDALE (Somerset
Co.) In a good sense, a strong
shot of Bourbon July 12 at the
county fairgrounds brought out
a champion for Pennwood
Farms at the Somerset District
Holstein Show, however, no ine
briation was involved.
Pennwood Stardust Bourbon,
a senior three-year-old was in
excellent form as far as judge
Curtis Day was concerned and
that couldn’t help but put the
Stoltzfus family in high spirits
no pun intended when he
selected the lady as grand cham
pion.
Bom January 5, 1996, a
daughter out of Browndale Star
dust and Lovdal Inspire Da
quire, Bourbon also had the best
udder in the class. Breeder was
Duane and Kevin Stoltzfus,
Berlin.
Kirsten Miller from Boswell
had the reserve champion in
Milbro Major Babe, a senior
two-year-old out of Gor-Wood-
D Super Sire Major and Milbro
Skybuck Babette. Babe, addi
tionally, was junior show grand
champion for the 21-year-old
Miller who is. approaching. a _
