Since Ed has always enjoyed growing alfalfa, he decided to name his farm after his passion. The Quigleys milk 390 cows and raise 275 heifers on the 600-acre farm. In 1996, they expanded from 120 to their current herd size and now boast a herd average of 25,800 pounds of milk. Nancy works off the farm as a school teacher, and they have one grown son who works as a profes sional firefighter.
