There were 133 bidders registered for the auction, held at 1929 New Holland Pike in Eden. In 10 years of auc tioneering, said Robert Martin of Leola, he had never seen a Rol monenia, a three-inch tall player piano. But he sold one Saturday for $l7O. Furniture items sold included a dry sink, $450; a walnut-and marble dresser, $375; a walnut-and-marble washstand, $300; an oak dropleaf table with four boards, $260; a collapsible wardrobe, $310; pine shelving, $375; a claw foot piano stool, $5O; a child’s C-roll desk, $160; and a child’s rocker, $65. Miscellaneous items auctioned off included two tin cheese molds, $95 each; a miniature Santa and sleigh, $9O; a six-piece bureau set, $120; and four china salt shakers, $65.
