NATIONAL EGG MARKET - AT A
GLANCE
In Chicago, prices were higher on all
sizes. In the Eastern region, prices were
unchanged to higher. Elsewhere, prices
were unchanged.
The market tone was fully steady to
mostly firm. Demand was mixed in a full
range, but was usually moderate to good
and was best where widespread feature
activity was in progress. Supplies of all
sizes were generally adequate to in
stances barely adequate.
Breaking stock offerings were ade
quate to available for the light to fair
demand. Light type hens were adequate
to fully adequate for current needs.
