Trucklot buying interest was slow and
disappointing. Seller efforts to move
product by offering out at steep dis
counts was meeting little success. Wings
and tenders continued to receive the best
inquiries and were about adequate. All
other items were more than adequate to
ample. Boneless, skinless and bone-in
breasts remained in the longest posi
tions. Retail and distributive movement
was light to about moderate. The market
tone was steady to fully steady on wings
and tenders. Breast items continued
weak. The balance of items was steady at
best.

Movement of ready-to-cook whole
birds was light to no better than fair and
mostly unaggressive. Seller offerings
varied but were fully sufficient and com
petitively priced for the limited buyer in
terest. Live supplies were at least
moderate; weights ranged light to heavy,
mostly desirable to heavy. Processing
schedules were moderately heavy. Less
than trucklot asking prices were un
changed at S 3 to 65 cents. Trade senti
ment was about steady. In the parts
complex, wings and tenders were in close
balance and clearing. Breast items were
weak. All other items were more than
sufficient for the light and cautious
buyer interest
