The trials, tribulations, and suc cesses of the first council’s 40-year existence have been wonderfully documented in a book by John Baylor. The book begins with grass land agriculture leading up to the formation of the PFGC and follows the journey of both grassland agri culture and the PFGC through present day. The evening celebration is scheduled in the middle of Ag Progress Days, a three-day, statewide agriculture and machinery show located 10 miles from the site of the anniversary cele bration.
