strength. This after months of
languishing at support levels.
Hot and humid weather across
much of the U.S. has depressed
milk production per cow, and that
has improved the outlook for
cheese prices.
At the Chicago Mercantile
Exchange, the price of 40-lb
block cheese rose from a weekly
average of $1.2040 the week
ending June 16 to $1.2620 the
week ending June 30. Barrel
