light to fair today with cautious but
hopeful expectations noted for the end of
the week. Offerings of tenders remained
no more than adequate. Bone-in breasts
were generally available at discounts. All
other items were adequate at least.
Movement into retail and distributive
outlets was slow to no better than moder
ate. The market tone was about steady.

Movement of ready-to-cook whole
birds remained generally slow in devel
oping and behind projections for the up
coming holiday. Seller offerings varied
by size and volume, but in total were
fully adequate to ample for immediate
needs. Live supplies were at least moder
ate; weights were mostly desirable to
heavy. Processing schedules were
moderately heavy. Less than trucklot
asking prices were unchanged at S 3 to 65
cents. Trade sentiment was no better
than steady. Boneless skinless breasts
were well balanced, instances short.
Tenders were tight. Other cuts were gen
erally noted as at least adequate.

to lower. Elsewhere, prices were un-
changed.
The market tone was barely steady to
mostly weak. Demand continued light to
no better than moderate, best into the
scattered feature activity. Supplies were
fully adequate to ample. Breaking stock
offerings were more than adequate for
the mostly fair to fairly good demand.
Light type fowl were fully adequate for
normal schedules.
