Prices were irregular but usually in a
range of unchanged to slightly higher.
However, trade sentiment was generally
mixed on whole product, fully steady to
firm on yolks, and barely steady on
whites when compared to last week.
Supplies were irregular, and mostly ade
quate for immediate trade needs . Liquid
and frozen eggs (ingredients included)
processed under federal inspection in the
Eastern region for the week ending June
17, 2000 were 3 % less than last week,
and 6 % less than a year ago.

Prices were 2 cents lower on the larger
sizes and 3 cents lower on mediums. The
market tone ranged barely steady to
mostly weak. Demand was light to mod
erate, better where features were in prog
ress.
Large 18-pack eggs were on special for
$1.39, limit one. Supplies were fully ade
quate to available on all sizes.
