AUGER
Loading the mixer is simple, since the top of the
mixer is completely open. There are no support
bars to obstruct feed. Simply load bales and
other commodities in the top of the mixer. The
unique vertical auger cuts and mixes the ration
up through the centre of the mixing chamber,
and then down the sides, resulting in a gentle,
total mix.
The tungsten carbide steel knives are mounted
on the auger, and accurately cut the ration,
retaining valuable nutrients. Gentle action inside
the mixing chamber ensures long life with
limited wear and maintenance. The “round tub”
eliminates virtually all pressure and wear, with
corners for feed to get bunched in. The
auger turns slowly, to allow for complete
cutting, without grinding or tearing
