Feeder heifers 1.00-2.00 higher. Heifer calves steady. Demand very good for ail classes. Market continues strong as numbers of available feeders and calves for June are light with Oklahoma auctions down some 26% from year ago June. Available numbers expected to increase in July as cattle will move from Flint Hills and Osage. Light June numbers coupled with probable continued cheap feed costs has buyers in bullish mode. Last Friday’s large placement numbers in Cattle on Feed report had no negative effects on any part of this week’s market. Quality plain through attractive and improved from last week. On and off showers prompted gaunt to average, some full weigh-ups. Feeder cattle in medium to moderate flesh conditions. Slaughter cows 1.00-1.50 higher. Slaughter bulls 2.00 higher.
