Majority prices on trucklot trading
were unchanged to higher on whole, bal
ance unchanged when compared to last
week’s values. Demand was fair on
whites, moderately active on whole, im
proved and ranged moderate to good on
yolks. Supplies were irregular, but in
ventories were usually adequate for most
immediate trade needs . Overall, the
undertone improved and was fully
steady on yolks and whole, and usually
steady on whites. Liquid and frozen eggs
(ingredients included) processed under
federal inspection in the Eastern region
for the week ending June 10, 2000 were
17 % less than last week, and 3 % less
than a year ago.

birds was light. Offerings were more
than sufficient for the generally light
and spotty buyer interest. Live supplies
were at least moderate. Weights were
mostly desirable to heavy. Processing
schedules were moderately heavy. Less
than trucklot asking prices were un
changed at 53 to 65 cents. Trade senti
ment was barely steady to weak. In the
parts complex, wings were in good bal
ance. Leg items ranged adequate to
ample. All other items were at least ade
quate.
