‘Length, Ham’ Define Schnecksville Champion Swine
(Continued from Page A 1)
said Allentown Fair is his favor
ite because it is the “most fun.”
Reserve 4-H market hog went
to Todd Bennecoff Jr., 12, son of
Todd and Cheryl Bennecoff,
Kutztown. The Northwest
Middle School seventh grader
showed a homebred 205-pound
Berkshire/Duroc crossbred.
Winning champion FFA
market hog was Elizabeth
Wisser, 18, Justin’s sister. The
Northwestern Lehigh High
School graduate showed a 126-
pound Yorkshire crossbred hog
she purchased from Otto Schick,
Kutztown.
Elizabeth, who has won
champion before at Schnecks
ville, is “retiring” from show
manship at this, her last as an
exhibitor at Schnecksville Fair.
She will be showing for the last
time at Kutztown and Allen
town fairs. Elizabeth works at
Something Special Florist in
Fogelsville.
Todd Bennecoff Jr. also
picked up supreme champion
gilt with a January Duroc,
“Atlas.” Todd plans to show at
Kutztown and Allentown fairs.
At the Schnecksville Fair
Swine Show, there were 13 ex
hibitors with 33 market hogs
and 40 breeding swine. Judge
for the show was Scott Wright,
Delaware Valley College herds
man.
Following is a list of show
