4-H K^^HAPPENINGS Susquehanna County The DES 4-H Club recently held a meeting at the Adam’s Farm. Members learned how to weigh and measure the height of a calf. Everyone took turns weighing and measuring an animal. Members were then given a quiz on the parts of the dairy cow. Leader Pat Hunsinger sent members a study sheet earlier in the week. They were given five minutes to take the quiz. When the five minutes were up, the members went over the parts of a calf. Everyone enjoyed it. Then we were all handed a brown envelope, which had our sign-up sheet for Dairy Camp and a shot paper explaining what shots the animals needed to show at Round Up. NEED YOUR FARM BUILDINGS PAINTED?
