Trucklot buying Interest was generally
fair yet lacked the enthusiasm normally
seen this time of year. Offerings were
mixed and complications due to disrup
tions in shipping were noted. Bone-in
breasts were difficult to locate and when
found were commanding premiums.
Boneless, skinless breasts were some
times short to mostly adequate. All other
items were at least adequate for current
needs. Retail and distributive movement
ranged moderate to good. The market
tone was fully steady to firm on bone-in
breasts, steady to fully steady on bone
less, skinless breasts and about steady on
the remainder of items.

birds was mostly fair to moderate. Seller
offerings were fully sufficient for current
inquiry; however, some shipments con
tinued to be disrupted as a result of com
puter problems. Live supplies were
mostly moderate; weights were mixed in
a full range of light to heavy. Processing
schedules were moderate to moderately
heavy. Less than trucklot asking prices
were unchanged at 56 to 68 cents. Trade
sentiment was mostly steady. In the
