Holstein steers weak. Slaughter heifers
lightly tested for the week. The Western
feedlots traded cattle mostly at 71.00-
73.00 on live basis and 113.00-116.00 on
dressed basis. Slaughter cows closed
steady to .75 higher. Slaughter bulls
were mostly steady. Supply included 54
percent slaughter steers, 5 percent
slaughter heifers, 27 percent slaughter
cows, 4 percent slaughter bulls, with the
balance feeders.
