Allen Smith, who with his wife, Irene, owns Turkey Valley Farm in Hollidaysburg, received the Pennsylvania Walk of Fame Award. Now age 78, Allen was bom on the Turkey Valley Farm and farmed until four years ago when a “bum” leg forced him to retire. The Smiths own a large herd of registered Guernseys, Belgian horses, and Black Angus cattle. They have two daughters, Shelva, who lives at home, and Sharon Sollenberger, wife of Wayne.
