hanged. Elsewhere, prices were un
hanged. The market tone ranged steady
.o weak, mostly cautious. Demand was
nostly moderate to seasonally good with
ittractive retail promotions usually
stimulating best interest. Supplies of all
sizes were at least adequate. Breaking
stock supplies were adequate to fully ad
equate from regular sources, and
demand for additional quality product
remained limited. Spent hen availability
was adequate to ample for normal and

pared to last week’s values. Demand was
light and unaggressive for fully adequate
offerings. The undertone was mixed and
unsettled. Liquid and frozen eggs
[ingredients included) processed under
r ederal inspection in the Eastern region
for the week ending April 08, 2000 were
2 % more than last week, and 6 % less
than a year ago. Shell egg suppliers were
sufficient for needs.
