EGGS, APRIL 07, 2000. FEDERAL
STATE
Majority prices were unchanged on
truck lot trading when compared to last
week’s values. Demand remain light and
usually unaggressive for sufficient offer
ings. The undertone was mixed but
geneally steady on whites and whole,
and cautious on yolks. Liquid and frozen
eggs (ingredients included) processed
under federal inspection in the Eastern
region for the week ending April 01,
2000 were 5 % more than last week, and
6 % more than a year ago. Shell egg sup
pliers were usually adequate for needs.
