Maryland Bell Ringers Announced Jarrett Remsburg from Middletown is the owner of the fall yearling winner, Burnt Mills Pawnee Kay. Kay is also a reserve na tional bell ringer. Laura Sigler from Middletown is the owner of Top Acres Peerless Sabrell, the senior 3-year-old winner. Hoodstead Jetway Nicole, owned by Kris ten Meyers of New Windsor, is the junior 2- year-old winner. Spring Intensive Grazing Kickoff Meeting MIFFLINBURG (Union Co.) Penn State Extension in the Central Susquehanna Valley area will sponsor an educational meeting on intensive grazing Thursday, April 20 from 10 a.m. until noon here at the Carriage Corner Restaurant. All interested persons are wel come to attend. Guest speaker will be Jim Garner from the Susquehanna County Conservation District. Garner works with graziers in several counties in northeastern Pennsylvania. Jim also operates an intensive grazing system on his home farm. He milks 50 cows and grazes Lancaster Farming, Saturday, April 15, 2000-A23 40 acres. He will detail his home farm grazing management and supplemental feeding program. Garner will also speak about watering systems from develop ing a water source to getting water out to paddocks. There will also be time for in formal discussion. Participants are welcome to stay for lunch. Cost of lunch is on your own. There will be a $3 per person charge to cover the cost of re freshments. You can pay at the door.
