INVITATION FOR BIDS
The Snyder County Conservation District is requesting bids for
construction of the David Apple Farm Barnyard and Walkway Project.
It is to be funded in pad by the Chesapeake Bay Program
Construction of this site Is expected to be from mid-May to mid-June
2000 This site is located In Perry Township, Snyder County near
Mount Pleasant Mills
Prospective contractors will receive a bid package consisting of
instructions to bidders, a bid sheet lor each component of the project,
o sample contract, and project plans and construction specifications.
Other information standard to most Chesapeake Bay Program
projects are now contained in the Department of Environmental
Protection's Contractor's Handbook, a copy ot which may be
obtained from the Snyder County Conservation District Office.
Small and minority businesses and women's business enterprises are
encouraged to respond to this invitation of bids.
A site showing tor the project will be held at the David Apple farm on
Friday, April 28,2000. It will begin ay 9:00 a m
Sealed bids will be accepted until 2:00 pm. on Fnday, May 12,
2000. The public opening will start on 215 p.m. on Friday, May
12,2000.
