CATTLE Compared to Thursday, a
good run of slaughter steers sold steady
toso higher Monday's market was
sluggish, but Tuesday's fancy offering
sparked interest and inflated prices
Holstein steers sold mostly steady,
wluleslaughter heifers were only lightly
tested Slaughter cow buyers were much
more cautious than late last week and
prices were 1 00-2.00 lower Slaughter
bulls traded weak to 1 00 lower Supply
included 52 percent slaughter steers and
37 percent slaughter cows

ness on lean cows. Bulls steady. Supply
included 42 percent slaughter steers and
35 percent cows.
