TnickkX buying activity was typically
quiet for midweek. Offering* were mixed
as Kane plant* reported reduced alaugbter
schedules due in pan to short weights,
equipment upgrades and apparent cutbacks
in production. Thighs and thigh meat were
tight to adequate. Boneless, skinless
breasts were becoming increasingly avail
able and some discounting was reported.
Bone-in breast* ranged about adequate to
fully adequate. The balance was at least
adequate. Retail and distributive move
ment was light to fair at best The market
tone was fully steady to linn on thighs and
no better than steady on the balance.
