light test of slaughter steers and heifers
sold steady Holstein steers and slaughter
cows were not fully tested Demand was
best for slaughter bulls and plain quality
singles, with a good crowd of ethnic
buyers There were near 70 head of
slaughter bulls on offer with prices
ranging 2 00-4 00 higher and instances
sharply higher on the younger bullocks

an attractive offenng of slaughter steers
sold 50-1 00 higher Buyer demand was
very good and trading was active and fast
paced right through to the end Holstein
steers sold steady to 50 higher, while
slaughter heifers were not well tested The
slaughter cows sold fully 100 higher
with the best demand for all weights of
lean cows Slaughter bull prices were

ers sold weak to .50 lower on a plainer
supply. Trading was not nearly as active
as earlier in the week, but still managed
to close .50 higher than last Thursday.
Holstein steers sold .50-1.00 higher with
good demand. Slaughter cows traded
steady to .50 higher and slaughter bull
