Ida’s Notebook Ida Risser Is winter finished for this year? We have had warm days and the snow is gone. There is no more sledding on our steep meadow hill. I’ve brought some forsythia stems into the house and they are blooming. In the morning we watch a group of bluebirds sit on our three bird houses. When the grandchildren come for a few hours, we make cookies. The last time that they were here I cooked rather than baked some chocolate oatmeal cookies.
