Angus Associations Meet
Tanya Peebles, Lawrenceville, Va., left, was named
the outstanding senior member by the Virginia Junior

of two regional Angus associa
tions were honored at banquets
conducted in these locations re
cently.
At the Pennsylvania Angus
Association annual meeting in
Grantville, Dale and Brenda
Rains, Mercer, were named
Breeder of the Year. Harry
Bachman, Pennsylvania Angus
Association president, presented
the award.
The association named John
and Jo Ann Hausner, Dover, the
Family of the Year at the 2000
Pennsylvania Angus Association
annual meeting and banquet in
Grantville. Allen Detwiler made
the presentation.
Cory Thompson, Wellsville,
and Hope Long, Airville, were
recognized as the outstanding
junior boy and girl at the meet
ing. Dale Rains, Angus associa
tion vice president, presented
the awards.

Will Epperly, Moneta, was named the Virginia Junior
Angus Association’s outstanding first-year member
during the meeting. Presenting the award was Kathe
rine Meadows.
Cory Thompson, Wellsville, and Hope Long, Airville,
