Note: Willis Applegate passed suddenly on August 9th from a heart attack at 57 years young. Willis
owned Applegate Trucking which is now prospering under Scott Applegate’s management. The late Mr.
Applegate operated the grain farm as a hobby and like the thriving trucking business was conducted first
class and with great pride. Many of you attended the prestigious potato farm dispersal held here in 1988
