fescue out and reseeding with
grasses suitable to the area, along
with a legume mix, can prove viable.
The problems with getting a
good forage can stem from lack of
good fertility rather than grass spe
cies, he noted. He emphasized the
importance of not following some
kind of grazing “blueprint” but to
take information and question it,
and try to apply what you learn
from other producers and technical
sources.
