of the slate still covered with mow and ice.
Feeder cattle and few calves steady to 2.00
higher. Demand excellent for light
teedpts. Bulk reed pis feeder steers over
630 lbs. Slaughter cows and bulls
2.50-4.00 higher. Backer demand very
good for light reedpts. Forecast is good for
next week with large numbers of feeders
and cows expected. Total of S 3 cows and
bulls sold with 65 percent to packets.
Receipts this week 1,373; last week
11,879; last year 4,979. Supply consisted
of 86 percent yearlings over 600 lbs; 8 per
cent calves under 600 lbs; 6 percent cows
