County Agricultural
Center Wednesday,
Feb. 2.
Sign-in will begin at
8:30 a.tn. and will con
clude by 3:30 p.tn.,
according to John Row
ehl, regional agricultur
al agent for grain crops.
“This is intended for
someone that is relative
ly new to soybean pro
duction and looking for
the basic fundamentals.
We are going to cover
everything from plant
growth to cultural prac
tices and pest manage
ment of soybeans,” said
Rowehl, regional exten
sion agent coordinating
the school. “Participants
will take an active part
in some problem
solving exercises, so
this will not just be a sit
and-listen meeting.”

Elwood Hatley, Penn
State extension special
ists in soybean manage
ment, will assist in con
ducting the program.
There is a $25 fee for
attending this school.
This covers reference
material and lunch.

also open to anyone
working in the business
of crop input supply and
