slaughter steer prices were not fully
tested.but a good test of slaughter heifers
sold firm A light run of slaughter cows
sold fully steady, and a good offering of
slaughter bulls sold sharply higher than

for the younger bullocks and stags was
much lighter Supply included 15 percent

CATTLE Compared to Thursday,
slaughter steers sold steady Quality of
supply was the best in several weeks and
helped keep prices unchanged Holstein
steers sold 50 higher and slaughter heifers
were not well tested Slaughter cows sold
steady to 50 lower with most of the
weakness placed on the fleshy cows (less
than 85 pet lean) There were not enough
slaughter bulls to fully test prices. Supply
included 29 pet slaughter steers and 60 pet
cows
