Melissa, 18, is the
daughter of Mark and
Janice Charles. Washington Boro. Melissa
plans to work on a farm full-time and
eventually own her own farm.
Melissa has served on various commit
tees at Manor FFA, including petting zoo,
horse show, fruit sale, and wood cutting.
She received the 1998 Leadership Awards
and the Greenhand, chapter, and Red Rose
degrees.
Bradley J. Cober Jr.
Bradley J. Cober Jr., 18-year-old son of
Brad and Ann Cober, Somerset, noted he
enjoys the activities and projects FFA has
to offer.
Bradley, two-year Somerset FFA mem
ber. indicated his future plans are to “run
heavy equipment” He saved as chapter
secretary and on the basketball and ban
quet committees.
In addition, Bradley has received a land
judging award and completed projects in
calf hutches and chicken coops. He
received his Greenhand and chapter
honors.

tion, Adasm noted he plans to expand his
herd of registered Brown Swiss and milk
about 60 of them. “I also plan to someday
purchase my own farm.”

college and major in wildlife and fishe
ries. pursuing a career in that area.

environmental, and economic commit
tees. He has completed wildlife conserva
tion and on-farm work experience
projects.

place for his county Envirothon team
membership, a second in state wildlife, a
fourth in state poultry, and completed
forestry and aquatics competidon. He has

Rose degrees.
