Trade sentiment was steady to mostly bare
ly steady with improved business antici
pated for next week, with yolk in the weak
est position. Supplies were adequate for
this week's reduced schedules. liquid and
frozen eggs (ingredients included) pro
cessed under federal inspection in the East
ern region for die week ending December
25,1999 were 26% less than last week, and
9% less than a year ago.

Prices were four cents lower on the lar
ger sizes and unchanged on mediums. The
market tone was barely steady to mostly
weak. Demand slowed and ranged from
light to moderate. Supplies were available
for the huger sizes and adequate for
mediums. The New York State shell egg
inventory increased by 6 percent and the
New Jersey inventory was 10 percent more
than a week ago.

offerings wen ample and comped lively
priced in an effort to stimulate activity.
Live supplies were at least moderate;
weights varied and were mostly desirable
to heavy. Processing schedules were mod
erately heavy. Less than trucklot asking
prices woe unchanged at 55 to 67 cents.
Trade sentiment was at best steady. In the
parts complex wings were both in best
balance and adequate. Boneless skinless
breasts cleared well to some retail ads but
supplies were at least adequate. Whole
breast were difficult to place. Leg items
