MANAGER POSITION OPENING
The Bucks Conservation District is seeking applications for
the position of District Manager, a full time position with
benefits. The District Manager is responsible for administer
ing the Bucks Conservation District, which includes supervi
sion and direction of staff, developing public information edu
cation programs, grant writing, budget and fiscal manage
ment and interaction with other agencies. Although the posi
tion is managerial, a background in agriculture, urban conser
vation practices and issues related to development is neces
sary A Bachelor’s Degree plus at least ten (10) years of expe
rience in an environmental or related field is required Salary
will be commensurate with qualifications, but there are budg
etary limitations on the amount of salary Any applicant
should state their salary expectations either in the application
or as part of the communication to the District referencing an
interest in the position.
