Daniel Post, son of Gail and Ross Post, New Tripoli, and Melissa Wirth, daughter of Darlene and James Wirth of Orefield, were awarded plaques and scholarships to 4-H Camp Shehaqua as Outstanding Boy and Girl (ages 8 -10). Daniel is a member of the Lowhill Laurels 4-H Club. Melissa is a member of the Lehigh County 4-H Poultry Club. The Neffs Cloverettes 4-H Club and the Lehigh County 4-H Equine Club were each given outstanding club awards. All three clubs received $25 to use as the members decide. Eleven volunteer 4-H club leaders were awarded pins marking milestones of service. Nicole Wirth, Emmaus, Lehigh County 4-H Seeing Eye Puppy Club, and David Harwich, Kempton, dairy and swine clubs and Lowhill Laurels 4-H Club, earned medals for overall achievement.
