National Grain Market St. Joseph, MO Tue Dee 38,1999 USDA-MO Dept Ag Market News Daily National Grain Market Summary Wheat and com bids were slightly high er without an/ major support factors except export optimism. Soybean bids were slightly lower on fore- casts for tain fall in southern Biazil this week and slow export demand. Wheat steady to I cent higher except Minneapolis 1 cent lower. Com 1 to 2 cents higher. Sorghum I to 2 cents higher. Soybeans 1 cent lower. Pakis tan's bid for 300,000 metric tons of white wheat and a few other tenders underpinned wheat bids, today. Weather forecasts still call for dry conditions in the southern Plains, limiting gains. Com was higher in reaction to stronger wheat bide and some fund buying on the Board. Farmer selling remains light but concerns it may pick up after the first of the year kept a Ud on bids. Slight advances In soybean bids didn't <w»h» up for yesterday's sharp declines. Chancea for some ninhll in southern Bra zil later this week, offered light support.
