remained steady. Demand tanged from
modeiate to good and was best where lim
ited feature activity was present Supplies
were closely balanced to barely adequate.
The New York State shell egg inventoiy
decreased fay 17 percent and the New
Jersey inventoiy was 45 percent less than a
week ago.

demand. The undertone was mixed but
about steady. Liquid and frozen eggs
(ingredients Included) processed under
federal inspection in the Eastern region for
the week ending December IS, 1999 were
14% less than last week, and 6 % leas than
a year ago. Shell egg supplies were suffi
cient for trade needs.
