Yates County’s Suzie Vaughn was awarded first place m the New York Farm Agricultural Youth Scholarship contest and the top prize of $5OO The contest took place during the farm organiza tion’s annual meeting at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Albany. The $250 second-place prize went to Erie County’s Emily Habermehl. In third place is Kimberly Thompson, who received the $lOO scholarship. The meeting is sponsored by the Eastern Lancaster County School District and Lancaster County Cooperative Extension. There will be something for everyone.
