Daily National Grain Market Summary
Grain and soybeans tried to rally early
today but finished on both sides of steady
at the end of the trading day. Light export
sales, fund selling, and large World com
petition kept a lid on bids. Wheat 1 cent
higher to 1 cent lower. Com mostly steady.
Sorghum steady. Soybeans mixed, light
com and soybean sales to Scxrth Korea
overnight but nothing large enough to push
bids higher. Argentina is still an aggressive
seller of wheat. China is reported to have
bought at least one cargo of US beans in
the past few days. There was some fund
positioning in com pits.
