The Lancaster County Holstein
Show had an income of $2,290
with expenses totaling $2,007.43,
which left a net income of only
$282.57.
For the year, total income,
including membership rebate, was
$7,095.91 with expenses totaling
$6,833.96 for a grand total net
income of only $261.95. Com
bined with a beginning balance of
$2,256.25 and income from 1998-
1999 activities totaling $261.95, in
addition to a certificate of deposit
earning $BO on interest in the past
year (bringing the CD to
$2,106.58), the net worth of the
club was $4,624.78.
Three new directors to serve
three-year terms were elected at
the banquet. They included Mike
Eby, Dave Wenger, and David
Stoltzfoos.
Eby, club president from Gor
donville, milks 52 cows, has 107
head total, and is serving his third
year on the board. Wenger, from
Manheim, has served the last three
years. And Stoltzfoos milks 60
cows in Leola.
