Milestone 150,000 th Round Baler Made
NEW HOLLAND (Lancaster
Co.) - The 150,000 lh round baler
emerged from the New Holland
assembly line at the company's
manufacturing facility amid the
applause of hundreds of plant
employees, company officials,
and special guests from around
the world who gathered at the
plant to celebrate the event. The
baler, a Model 658, is headed to
C-Bar-W Farm in Tolar, Texas,
and the owners Kyale Campbell
and his brother-in-law, Mark
Waldrep, were in New Holland
Wednesday, to accept the new
round baler from their local
dealer, J.R. Walker, owner of
Stephenville New Holland in
Stephenville, Texas.
C-Bar-W Farm is a family
owned and operated business
located on 1,500 acres in the heart
of cattle country about 30 miles
southwest of Fort Worth.
According to Campbell, they’ll
use the new round baler to

To mark the event, the baler, a
stock model, was customized with
a special paint job, the customers'
names engraved on the
mainframe, and a plaque
designating its special place as
New Holland round baler number
150,000.
This year also marks New
Holland's 25 ,h anniversary in the
round baler business. Round
balers have been produced in
Lancaster County since the first
one was made by the company in
1974.
Earlier this week, officials of
CNH the international company
created from the merger of New
Holland and Case Corporation
announced plans to operate under
a multiple brand, multiple
distribution business model.
