QUESTION Ann would like to know where to
find gaskets for 3- and 6-quart Mirro Pressure Cooker ■
and for the pressure cooker that requires a pressure
control with three holes in it for 5-10-15 pounds. The
company told her that it no longer makes the gaskets.
QUESTION Harold R. Stoudt, Hamburg, is in
search of a rust inhibitor for a Drain Back Solar
Domestic Hot Water System. The inhibitor must be
non-toxic so that the water would be suitable tor
human consumption in case of leaks and it must mix
well with water.
QUESTION Anna Bryan writes that years ago
her mom had an angel food cake pan with a lid on top.
She asks where she can find one with a lid.
QUESTION —Mrs. Glenn Miller, HC 62, Box 660,
Honesdale, PA 18431 wants to purchase a used
Stanley Wood cookstove in good condition.
QUESTION—Brenda Pouts, Auburn, N.Y., writes
that her string beans are loaded with mature, seedy
pods that are starting to dry out. She wants to know if
the beans can be used in lieu of navy beans and how
should they be dried to preserve? For those who are
interested, Brenda writes that she used a newer vari
ety of green beans called Vilbel. She writes that the

beans that hang on like spaghetti. She recommends

on the lid inside the jar. The company must have
gone out of business because letters addressed to
