NATIONAL EGO MARKET - AT A
GLANCE
In Chicago and the Eastern region,
prices were unchanged to higher. Else
where, prices were unchanged. The market
tone was fully steady to Ann. Demand
ringed moderate to mostly good, and was
best where retail features were either
planned or in progress. Supplies were
about adequate to occasionally tight, and
the larger sizes were usually in the better
position. On the West Coast, offerings
remained short. Breaking stock supplies
were no more than adequate from regular
soirees, and offerings of additional pro
duct were often limited and held with con
fidence. Light type hens were sufficient for
trade needs.
