vacated by an unexpected
vacancy just prior to the session.
Both were elected by about 600
delegates, representing more
than 400 Subordinate (local)
Grange chapters at the 1999
session, which was hosted by the
Lehigh/Northampton Pomona
Grange.

usher at St. Paul’s United
Methodist Church in State
College. The husband of Judy
Pressler, they are the parents of
one child.

Master of Mt. Nebo Grange, a
state deputy who represents
Allegheny Pomona Grange for
the State Master, and steward in
the Pomona Grange. Past offices
held include Pomona Master
and overseer.
Rudy has the distinction of
receiving the organization’s
highest honor in 1984 when he
was named the Granger of the
Year. The award is given to the
member who demonstrates
exemplary service to the Grange
and other community service
organizations. He was also rec
ognized in 1999 by the
Community Service Department
with the State Deputy Award.
