NEW LONDON (Chester Co.)
A lovely fall day brought a
good turnout for the Triangle
Series schooling horse show
Sunday, Sept. 26, here at
Grazing Acres.
Both pleasure horse and plea
sure pony divisions awarded
cash prizes in all classes, with
champion of the pleasure horse
division going to Sidekick, rid
den by Jennifer Haines oi
Boothwyn, and the pony plea
sure championship going to
Desert Fire Belle, ridden by
Jenna DiNenno of West Grove.
Reserve champion pleasure
horse was Just You Wait, shown
by Sam Andrews of Kennett
Square, and reserve champion
pleasure pony was Oreo, shown
by Leah Moorhead of Oxford.
Miss Moorhead was also the
champion of the open equitation
division for riders aged 13 and
up, and champion of the western
division.
Reserve champion in open
equitation was Valarie Mahala
of Kennett Square riding Slew of
Dancers. Slew of Dancers was
also the reserve champion of the
low hunter division.
Champion low hunter and
champion of the baby green divi
sion was Flame, ridden by
Jessica Knox of Unionville.
Reserve champion in Baby
Green was Booker, ridden by
Lisa Moore.
Halter, a division for horses
and ponies aged 3 and younger
and judged on confirmation, con
tinues to be popular. Champion
at this show was Martial Law,
owned and shown by Alicia
DelDuco of Catamount Road,
Oxford. Reserve champion was
Nocternal Twist, owned by
Jennifer Knox of Unionville and
shown by Heather Willis of
Oxford.
Champion of the leadline
division was Carolyn Tester of
Lincoln University riding Mardi
Gras. Reserve champion was
Anthony DiNenno of West Grove
on Sabrina. In the mini-mini
division, for riders aged 8 and
under, the champion was Kelsey
Sherman of Kennett Square, rid
ing Starburst. Reserve champi
on was Heather Frank of
Ccchranville, riding CV Jackson
Marouse.
Andrea Heinzman of Cochran
ville, riding Quintessa, was the
champion of the mini-stirrup
division (for riders aged 10 and
under). Heinzman then moved
up in competition and was
reserve champion for advanced
short stirrup. Reserve champion
in the mini division was Brooke
Holloway of Kennett Square,
riding Wrinkle In Time.
Holloway also moved up in com
petition and was champion in
beginner short stirrup.
Advanced short stirrup (ages
12 and under) champion was
Melissa Donohue of West
Chester, riding One Last Trick.

“Triangle” for this show series.
